Lassi, or yogurt beverage, is taking multiple forms in India. It’s one of the most common ways to enjoy it. It’s like a chilled fluid ice cream with no calories. Lassi is a combination of yogurt, water, spices, and sometimes fruit. It is nearly an emotion for all our Punjabi’s out there. While lassi could be consumed as a sweet drink, it is absolutely an excellent companion to spicy food. Any curd or butter milk-based drink can reduce the heat of hot peppers, which also has a calming effect on the stomach and mind. Besides, it is medically known that yogurt helps boost digestion after large meals.
Why devour this as a plain drink when mangoes are around?
Mangoes! Yeah, they ‘re delicious, and more than half of the Indians are fascinated by them.
The creamy texture of our favourite lassi with some delicious mangoes is just like the cherry on a cake. It feels just right.
At its core, mango lassi is a milkshake or smoothie with yogurt and mango! The rest is pretty flexible. Freely add spices like cardamom or cinnamon. What we are trying to say is, this MANGO LASSI RECIPE is ridiculously easy to make and you need it in your life.
*STEPS:
Chop the mangoes up roughly. (Do not discard the seed)
Squeeze the seeds over the mixer jar with your hands to extract all the pulp from them. (Now you can discard the seed)
Garnish with some cardamom powder and finely chopped mangoes.
